On Wednesday I attended the annual conference for
The Specialised Information Publishers Association
(SIPA) - although it is mainly made up with Business to
Business publishers, there were plenty of juicy money-
making insights . . . I've got to collate all my notes and
will give you the best bits when I get back from hols  . . .

I was also asked to make a presentation (well, as SIPA
Chairman this year I actually volunteered myself) and
gave a 45-minute talk on my emarketing techniques
and how they had generated over £10 million in the last
year or so. Interestingly these are the exact same
techniques that Jon, Charlie and I will be teaching to the
lucky winners of The Big Prize.

I was surprised and delighted to find out that very well
established multi-million pound businesses employing
hundreds of people were not following these strategies.
So many of them seem to get bogged down with
building fancy websites with complicated 'content
management' and sophisticated measuring that I don't
pretend to understand. I prefer to keep it simple - I
mean why bother complicating something if it works?

I shouldn't announce the next bit yet, but what the

On 31st July at midnight we will be closing down The
