Can I be your mentor?

Hi,

It's competition time! I've had scores of emails and
telephone calls after my tease last week about the
competition that will see 3 people personally coached
and mentored by me, Jon Street and Charlie Wright in
starting and running a successful online business.

If you're one of the chosen few, we will help you set up a
business from scratch following these 7 simple steps: 

1. Find a hungry market looking for a problem to be
solved
 
2. Create a simple website that encourages people in
this market to sign up and receive more information
from you 
 
3. Market your squeeze pages in places where people
in your niche market hang out

4. Build relationships with your subscribers

5. Find suitable products to promote to your list

6. Create a product launch series and build a buying
frenzy

7. Repeat the above again and again to make a
consistent online income

If any of this seems familiar, it's because it is based on
the business model Jon Street used in his brilliant 30K
Day eMarketing programme. That in turn was based on
techniques I have used and developed over the last 10
years in my own business and in others I have worked
with.

I personally taught both Charlie and Jon to do this. They
have now refined the strategy even more. And now it's
time for us to pass on our knowledge to others. You don't
need any previous online experience - just a willingness
to follow our instructions and take action!

All 3 of us use this exact same strategy - and without
blowing our collective horn section, we have done very
well indeed financially. More than that, it's actually the
easiest and most stimulating way I know of making
money online. Bar none.

I'm not going to make any wild claims BUT our aim is to
provide the winners with the tools and motivation to
create a serious life-changing income within just a few
months.

Why are we holding this competition?

First, because I want to prove beyond any doubt that this
online plan can be used by anyone to make serious
money. Second, because I think it's going to be a lot of
fun. And finally, if we find that we all enjoy the experience
we may consider offering a full mentoring programme to
people in the future.

The competition will be open until 31st July. However I
urge you to get your entry in early. I suspect there will be
thousands of entrants. Both Jon and Charlie will be
opening up the competition to their readers from next
week. As you are a loyal reader (and the competition was
my idea!), you are the first to hear about it.

Of course it's a given that if you are entering this
competition you'll be prepared to give up some time to
work on this business. I suspect at least 1 hour per day
devoted to the business. 

When it comes to the training and mentoring - this will be
done through a mix of emails, telephone calls, online
webinars and face-to-face meetings. The latter would
take place in central London. So you would need to be
able to take at least one day for that.

Here's how to enter the competition

First off, please fill in a simple questionnaire. Go to

It's completely anonymous, but I want to get a feel for
what people's experiences and expectations are. It
shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to complete.
Most are multiple-choice questions. There are also a few
boxes where you can write down specifics.

Second - and this is the important bit - I would like you to
send me an email at nicklaight@yahoo.co.uk telling me
why I should pick you. In the subject line put 'The Big
Prize'. Please include anything you believe is relevant.
Tell me why you want to start an online business and
include any previous experience you may have - the
good and the bad. I also want to know what you feel is
currently stopping you from succeeding online.

Then Jon, Charlie and I will go through the entrants and
pick 3 people we feel would benefit most from our help.
As I said before, this competition is open to all. You don't
need any previous online experience - far more
important is your ambition and determination to succeed.

send it as soon as possible. The closing date will be 31st
July. I suspect we will announce the winner in the first
week of August.
