Let's talk about the weather . . .

Hi

Humans are such a strange species . . .

When the sun shines, the park opposite our
office is packed at lunchtime with
hundreds of workers having their
sandwiches and topping up their tans.

An ice cream van parks on the corner and
does a roaring trade, while the local pub
gardens are packed with drinkers enjoying
the weather.

People are laughing, chatting and there's
an air of optimism and fun.

Contrast to yesterday . . .

It was overcast.

At 1pm, the park was deserted but for a
few people walking their dogs.

The ice cream van was nowhere to be seen
and the pubs were quiet.

Isn't it amazing how a warm sunny day can
change the actions and even buying
decisions of hundreds, thousands or even
millions of people?

The profits of businesses big and small
can be affected by the English Summers -
with a warm spell, tourism is up, clothing
and drinks sales boom . . . equally, if
you are online you find a distinct dip in
sales as people head outside rather than
check their emails or surf the web.

Sentiment is a funny thing . . .

I'm talking about the way people act and
buy based upon their perceptions - and
just how our sentiment can change from
positive to negative as quickly as a cloud
rolling across the sun.

The UK property market is a perfect
example.

Despite having a relatively sound economy
(low unemployment, lowish interest rates,
high disposable incomes) and fundamentally
robust property market, a minor and much
needed correction in property prices can
suddenly spiral into a crash purely
because of the collective perceptions of
buyers and sellers.

As we lose confidence in the market, our
fears can become self-fulfilling. Of
course this is not helped by the
hysterical headlines in the media who feed
on our hopes and fears.

The same can be said about financial
markets - much of the activity is not
based upon the hard facts of say, a
business's profitability or economic news,
but the fear and greed of millions of
individual traders and investors.

And just consider how this irrational
sentiment can invade our daily lives . . .

How one day we can be full of energy and
optimism for our projects, then a small
knock, a bit of bad news or a negative
encounter can set us back into a deep
gloom.

It's all about expectations - we don't
base our perceptions on hard facts, but on
what we think might happen.

We do not use the rational part of our
brains, but are instead led by our
emotions.

Now, I don't know if it is my blissful
ignorance or entrenched arrogance, but I
always carry on regardless - pushing
forward and don't allow 'what ifs' to
affect me.

Today, as talk in the media is all doom
and gloom . . . falling property prices,
rising food and fuel costs, credit crunch
and so on, I'm not letting it get to me.
Instead I am seeing it as an opportunity!

So stand back a little and take stock.

Remove your emotions as much as you can
and look again . . . I think you'll be
surprised at what you see.

New opportunity!
********************

Here's great one-time-only chance to get
your hands on a huge stockpile of in
demand products - ideal for serious
eBayers and traders . . .

I was talking to a business contact
recently and came across a wonderful
opportunity.

Roxanne Cross is a highly successful stock
market trader. For the past 3 years she
has been training others to day trade the
markets with huge success.

But this opportunity is nothing to do with
financial markets. You see a few years ago
Roxanne ran a thriving business buying and
selling all types of giftware.

However, since her day trading business
has taken off, she has not had the time to
go back to this business. But she does
have a huge stockpile of top quality
products that she wants to offload.

And that's where you come in . . .

If you are interested, Roxanne is seeking
serious a buyer for these items. Here's
how she describes it:

"It is approximately around £50k
wholesale. This would be ideal for eBayers
and those who do market stalls. It is
mailing giftware which includes jewellery
made from Swarovski crystals, very
upmarket. I just need all of it to be
gone. I have 4 garages filled from top to
bottom including displays for shops and
stalls. I am actually paying rent for two
garages and really want to get rid off
everything, so best offer is what I am
looking for."

I should say, this is for serious players
only. Roxanne is looking to sell of her
entire stock to a single buyer.

I trust Roxanne 100% and she has my full
endorsement. So if you are interested and
would like full details of the stock,
please email Roxanne directly on
RCross7307@aol.com

If this is a bit ambitious for you right
now, but you are still after ways of
picking up anything from giftware to cars
and electronics for big discounts I have
something else that is very exciting.

We are about to launch a brand new website
- The Secret Source Finder - early next
week - this will have a huge database of
wholesalers, government auctions,
droppshippers, repossessions, liquidation
sales, and the best online sources for
finding up to 90% discounts on thousands
of different goods.

I'll give you more details next week . . .

Best regards

Nick
