Well, MrMurphy came a-knocking and decided to break up
our little money-making party before it had even got
started!
 
Let me unload my woes on you. You see, just before I went
off for a relaxing if rather damp holiday in Cornwall, I put
together the Summer Fast Cash Compendium - a kind of
mega bundle of the best money making ideas fro the
archives. Well, I thought I'd go that extra mile and put
together a brand new business blueprint.
 
(Now if you are not one of my regular subscribers then
what you are about to read will mean nothing BUT please
stick with me, as you'll actually benefit in big way from
this.)
 
Back to the sorry story: well, the special business blueprint
I put together was to show you how to set up a Bank
Charge Reclamation business. In a nutshell, the banks had
been overcharging s poor customers for years and it was
possible to set up a business helping others to reclaim
unfair charges and take a slice of whatever you recovered.
It was a great little business and was already making some
people a very tidy income. The banks were in a corner and
it seemed like media exposure was about to generate a
massive surge of hungry claimants in need of your help.
 
So what happens less than a week after it is published?
 
The good old Office of Fair Trading gets the go ahead to
take 8 banks to the high court for the long awaited test case
on whether or not banks charges are legal. Justice David
Steel rules the test case will take place early next year. In
the meantime the Financial Services Authority has said all
the banks can put any claims for refunds on hold until a
ruling is made in the test case.
 
So where does this leave you as regards the opportunity to
make commission by reclaiming bank charges for others?
 
Well, in the short-term as no claims can be processed or
submitted, the opportunity is beached. The test case could
take months (some say years) before a definitive ruling is
made. After all, the result could change the banking system
in the UK as we know it.

This was completely out of the blue and really couldn't
have been predicted. So hold fire for now. As soon as I
know anything, I'll let you know.
